WHO WE ARE

We are a local group of like minded people who encourage local talent. The aim of the organisation is to provide an opportunity for everyone who wishes the chance to participate in any role in a production, both on and off stage.

We currently produce a traditional family pantomime in December, our current cast consists of people from aged 8+ (your never too old to do panto!)

We have been nominated and won multiple awards from Somerset Fellowship of Drama (Cinderella Awards).

GET INVOVLED
Can I take part?

YES, it only costs your time and commitment to the production as all our funding comes sole from ticket sales, advertising and sponsors. If you or anyone you know would like to advertise or sponsor please contact us.

We do our best to include all interested parties in our shows.

SPONSORSHIP

Our numbers both on stage and in the audience are rising, costs are also rising. We are constantly looking for the most cost effective way of producing a quality show and if you feel you could sponsor in any way please contact us. We offer publicity both in print, online and even in the shows!

PERFORMING

We do not have a membership, just friendship, each show is well advertised locally and is open to anyone who wishes to audition. These roles will be dependent on the show, not all have to be able to dance or sing, it does help if you can remember your lines though!

BACKSTAGE

We always welcome those who do not wish to take to the stage but would like to be part of the team. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm, we were all novices at the start and we are willingly to pass on our expertise and knowledge. This includes make up, costumes, lighting, sound and moving scenery.

FRONT OF HOUSE

Every audience has to be cared for. We have a team that do just that showing the audience to their seats, selling programmes and sometimes selling merchandise. If you enjoy meeting people and are prepared to watch the show, this could be a role for you.

MUSICIANS

Every production needs musicians although the skills required vary considerably for each production. Again we have a wide range of ages here and all are welcome although obviously we would need to know the level you have achieved and any experience you have. However experience of playing for a show is not necessary.
